Artist: Cathy Weiss

Bleicher Project space is pleased to present a demonstration by artist Cathy Weiss who will discuss her art and show how she integrates the printmaking process into her work.  Members of the audience will experience the printmaking process. Attendees are encouraged to bring a recycled t-shirt for a demonstration of printing ready-made wood block images.

Currently featured in the Bleicher project space, Weiss was born in NYC and grew up in Los Angeles. She received her BA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz and received a fellowship in printmaking from Pratt Institute for graduate studies. She shows both nationally and internationally and promotes art opportunities through community projects and curated exhibitions.
