DESCRIPTION

Ben Rivera, Frank Ryan
April 14th - May 26
Opening Reception Saturday, April 14, 6 - 8pm
gallery km - east gallery

gallery km is very pleased to present "Ben Rivera, Frank Ryan" a joint exhibition by Los Angeles-based artists Frank Ryan and Ben Rivera, featuring solo work by both artists as well as pieces created in collaboration.  Ryan's solo contribution includes classically-executed oil paintings on linen and board, while Rivera's ranges from sculptures incorporating found objects and charcoaled paper to digital prints mounted on aluminum.  The work taken together evokes classical tropes while exploring the dualism inherent to the process of contemporary self-identitication.
