DESCRIPTION

Pyo Gallery LA announces LA5: Sculpture That Shaped The City,  a group exhibition of contemporary Los Angeles sculpture curated by Molly Barnes. The exhibition will include the work of five, well known Los Angeles based artists that have worked in the region since 1965 ; Guy Dill, Lloyd Hamrol, Peter Shire, Michael Todd, and Robert Williams. The premise of this timely exhibition is to highlight and celebrate the contributions Los Angeles artists have made to the local and global art scene. Many of the artists featured in this exhibition will also be included in the forthcoming citywide exhibition Pacific Standard Time.

 

The exhibition dates are October 1st through November 12, 2011.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 6- 8 pm.
