DESCRIPTION

La Sierra Art and Design Assistant Professor Tim Musso will be discussing self-published and designed artist books and giving a brief demo on woodcut relief printing.

Tim Musso creates woodcuts, wood engravings, and serigraph prints which are exhibited internationally. His work explores the relationship of various natural forms found on extensive backcountry explorations along the mountain ranges of the west coast of the US. In addition to his printmaking activities Tim has worked in the graphic design field in Spain and the west coast of the US on accounts including Pepsi Co., Doritos, Dannon, and Lays. His design work now focuses on typeface and book design including artists books. Tim holds an MFA from California State University, Long Beach and is currently an Assistant Professor of Art and Design at La Sierra University in Riverside.

This presentation is free.
