PLEASE NOTE: VPAM will be closed to the public from June 19 to July 4 2012.

VPAM’s permanent collection includes artworks from ancient civilizations in Central and South America, with a concentration of art from West Mexico and Peru. This show highlights a wide range of cultures from the Pre-Columbian period, from the Nayarit-Colima-Jalisco region of West Mexico (2000-1000 BCE) to the Chimú of Peru (900-1500 CE), among others.
