The Arroyo Arts Collective invites you to the Closing Reception and Auction for the exhibition For The Birds, at the Audubon Center at Debs Park.

This will be your last opportunity to see the remarkable artist-made installations throughout the Audubon grounds. These works explore a number of bird related themes, including vanishing habitat, and the representation of birds in popular culture. Visitors can enjoy refreshments in the Audubon’s Discovery Room and peruse the gallery show of artwork by Arroyo Arts Collective members.

Local band, Artichoke, will perform at 2:30pm, playing their infectious brand of indie pop. Expect tunes about birds, bees and Highland Park. The live auction begins at 4:00pm. Bid high, Bid often!!!!!!

Come early for music, stroll the grounds, then BID, BID, BID on your favorite pieces created by one of the following artists: Linda Johnstone Allen, Judith Amdur, Sharon Beeching, Kay Brown, Marcela Ciszewski, Gloria Cooper, Sharon Eaton, Kathi Flood, Gwen Freeman, Kathy Gallegos-Mas, Cicely Gilman, Rebeca Guerrero, Tina Gulotta, Sarah Hage, Betty Phoenix Wan Hamada, Karen Hansen, Cidne Hart, Kevin Hass, Peter Hess, Heather Hoggan, Karen Hovanitz, Sandy Huse, Patricia Lee, Susan Moss, Don Newton, Patricia Ogden, David Orozco, Michelle Perone,  Beth Peterson, Rebecca Pollack, Benette Rottman, Suzanne Siegel, Roderick Smith. Proceeds benefit the Audubon Center at Debs Park and the Arroyo Arts Collective.
