DESCRIPTION

ALL CITY Opening Reception: Sat April 23 / 7pm-10pm

BOMB IT Screening / Free: Sat April 30 / 7pm

ALL CITY brings together some LA's most prolific and influential street artists. Working out in public sphere, street artists opt for creating and sharing their work in highly visible locations where it can be freely enjoyed, documented, discussed, judged, and even destroyed.

Mostly seen on buildings, billboards, freeways and other public spaces, ALL CITY provides an opportunity to see this work up close. Along with their distinct and recognizable styles, these artists are recognized for their incredible ability to continually get their work up throughout Los Angeles and abroad, to go "all city".

Limited edition print: La Mano Grafica will release a new limited edition collaboration print created by exhibiting artists Cache and Eye One.

Free Screening: ALL CITY presents a free public screening of BOMB IT, the award-winning documentary from director Jon Reis, which investigates the most subversive and controversial visual art currently shaping  youth culture around the world, graffiti.

Through interviews and guerilla footage of graffiti writers in action on 5 continents, BOMB IT tells the story of graffiti from its origins to its controversial role in today's society. Featuring graffiti pioneer legends and  contemporary favorites such as Taki 183, Zephyr, Revs, Shepard Fairey, Revok, and Mear One. This cutting edge documentary tracks down today’s most innovative and pervasive street artists as they battle for control over the urban visual landscape. "You’ll never look at public space the same way again."
