Sunday | April 17 - Art Workshop for Adults

The Matjames’ Method: Object as Memoir

1:00 – 4:00pm • $60/50 CAFAM members

Instructors: Matjames Metson and Clea Jones

Artist Matjames translates forgotten and abandoned objects into repositories of memory and experience.  Join Matjames and fellow artist Clea Jones to find out more about Matjames’ process and create your own three-dimensional narrative using cigar boxes, photographs, fabrics, and a myriad of other carefully salvaged items.  Materials will be provided, but participants are highly encouraged to bring in personal mementos to incorporate.  To find out more about Matjames and his work, visit www.matjames.com.

Please register in advance at www.cafam.org or email: workshops@cafam.org.
