DESCRIPTION

Matthew Thomas is a master of geometric abstraction; his works are expressive and meditative experiments in color and form. Working primarily in encaustic, Thomas' works brings together themes from science, mathematics and religion.  His works are deceptively simple in design, but they reveal a deep interest in the mystery of the systems that govern both our physical and spiritual universes.
