Rivera & Rivera gallery is thrilled to present Se Habla Español, an exhibition of top contemporary Latino artists from the 1970s to today and including Carlos Almaraz, Alex Rubio, Nina Nolte and Miguel Osuna among others. From Frank Romero’s 1974 ‘Corazon’, which has toured the country in every major Chicano art exhibition since the original Los Four show at LACMA, to the contemporary work of The Date Farmers who fuse traditional folklore and iconography with with pop and found materials, this exhibition celebrates the long and influential history of Chicano and Latino art in Los Angeles. Se Habla Español provides a cohesive display of work through time, showcasing both a variety of media, techniques, and artistic prowess.
