With levity and a great deal of wit\, Meg Cranston inve
stigates the intersections between individual and shared experience and how
imagery and objects acquire meaning in our culture. With an eye equally en
amored of color theory\, design\, fashion\, and supermarket advertising\, s
he makes energetic collages pairing found imagery with monochromatic abstra
ct forms. Her work was recently featured in Made in L.A. 2012 at the Hammer Museum
and in exhibitions at the Getty Museum\, Los Angeles\; Galerie Michael Jan
