About the Authors

\n

CHRIS KRAUS is an author\, filmmaker\, and journalist\, named by I ndex Magazine as “one of the most subversive voices in American fiction.” K raus has published both fiction and non-fiction work through the Native Age nts branch of Semiotext(e)—most notably I Love Dick (1997)\, A liens and Anorexia (2000)\, Video Green (2004)\, and Torp or (2006). Kraus has taught at the European Graduate School in Switzer land\, as well as UC San Diego\, UC Irvine\, and Pasadena’s Art Center Coll ege of Design.

MATIAS VIEGENER is a Los Angeles based writer\, arti st and critic who works alone and collaboratively in the fields of writing\ , video\, installation\, and performance art. He is a co-founder of Fallen Fruit\, a participatory art practice focusing on fruit\, urban ecology\, an d public space\, which has shown work internationally in museums and galler ies. Viegener is the author of 2500 Random Things About Me Too\, a book of experimental writing\, and has co-edited two books\, The nouli pian Analects and Séance in Experimental Writing with Christi ne Wertheim. He is the editor and co-translator of Georges Batailles’ T he Trial of Gilles de Rais.
