twelve is a show about the ubi quitous consciousness and idea encompassing the number as a completion of c ycles\, measurements\, spiritual and religious attributes\, temporal\, and tonal in music and colors. The word "twelve" is the largest number with a s ingle-morpheme name in English. Etymology suggests that "twelve" (similar t o "eleven") arises from the Germanic compound twalif "two-leftover"\; "two remaining (after having ten taken)". This compound meaning may have been tr ansparent to speakers of Old English\, but the modern form "twelve" is quit e opaque.

In its current accepted idea of the "whole" or "set"\ , "twelve" explores the mathematical coincidences in the process of each wo rk selected\, in most cases smaller units that add up to a larger universe and more or less with characteristic aberrations.
