Call for Artists:
National Juried Exhibition
September 4th, 2013
We are seeking works of art that address
the concept of "structure" in all its forms.
Structure can define vision and expression within political, religious and technological boundaries.
"Structure" may be determined by methodical
paint stokes, pattern, line and design,
tightly controlled spaces and concepts,
or by the free flow line that captures the essence
and structure of the figure, the negative space,
what is not shown. Structure may also be
manifested by your intent and expression
within conceptual work.

[one] contemplates the mysteries of eternity,
of life, of the marvelous structure of reality."

We are delighted that various artists
who have submitted works to our juried shows
have been given additional exhibition opportunities
at Arc and other venues.
Since Arc Gallery started in 2010,
eight artists blind-juried into Arc exhibitions
have been selected for exhibitions and/or
picked up for representation
in other San Francisco Bay Area galleries.
Thirty-two artists in Arc juried exhibitions
have been subsequently invited to
participate in curated exhibitions at Arc Gallery.
We hope this trend continues!
The Arc Gallery & Studios arts complex includes a 1,000 sq. ft. art gallery, ten artist studios, an art education center, San Francisco Artist Network and Kearny Street Workshop offices, as well as VEGA Blue Bottle Coffee Kiosk and Creme Brulee Shop.
