Raza Matazz- Octagenarian Modern

Legendary artist S.H. Raza presents a large series of recent works in this new show at Akar Prakar.  A contemporary of M.F. Hussain,  Raza has kept a comparatively lower profile in the public consciousness probably due to the less “controversial” nature of his work.  His quieter and more formal thematic vision, plastic and spiritual at once, is on display in this solo show which demonstrates this octogenarians continuing dynamism and voluminous output.
