Able Fine Art NY Gallery is pleased to present “Pure desire” a solo exhibition by Korean artist Hyejin Kim.

This exhibition will explore who I am, what desire I have followed, and finally what is the meaning of life to me. Most of the past years have been compassed by the memories or reminiscences of the mother who stopped at the memory of her childhood, and finally she is shifting their eyes to ‘this moment and time beyond’. It has made herself a subjective object that will lead me straight to new possibilities and visions. This is also evident in the 'Identity Series works', the title of a consistent work.

Hyejin Kim is Korean Actress and Artist after graduating with a BFA from Hongik University in South korea. She has been exhibiting art skills since childhood and has been working on the artist's path for the past 5 years. She has participated in over 100 large and small group art fairs and art fairs including Taehwa River International Installation Art Festival including 13 solo exhibitions. Meanwhile, she is famous actress who showed impressive performances in Korean drama 'Iris' season 1, 'Dong Ii', and 'Jeon Woo'.

Hyejin Kim has set up time for nostalgia and wait for her mother in her past exhibitions. But from this exhibition, she has created a story series with a series of paintings, paintings and sculptures, and a gratitude for her life. The theme of this 14th solo exhibit is "Pure Desire" (Who am I), and 16 pieces of paintings prepared over the past year are exhibited.

In the author's note, Kim writes, "I am going to present works that have grown to express the identity of my identity and the essence of my world, the pure desire of everyday life as it is," Who am I? ". Everyone is living in relationships. I want to express the story of myself in a picture and reveal my figure in the relationship. I want to sympathize with people who have the same anxieties, difficulties, and frustrations, to share and to be a little comfort. "She said.
