We are pleased to announce the next show, Friends of Painting, a two person show with Jon Clary and Bruce Wilhelm. This will be the first time both artists have shown with the gallery and we are excited to exhibit their wonderfully vibrant and beautiful work. The show includes mostly paintings as well as a few stop animation films and painting sculptures by Bruce Wilhelm. The two met while in college in Richmond, Virginia. The woman is fabulous. With her 70s Wedge hairdo and campy smile. Her provocative poses and happy hooker disposition make her almost larger than life, like Joan Collins, or a cougar with the secret to eternal youth (or the lie thereof). She called herself Michelle Dubois, an alias as flamboyant as her hair and makeup, and she is the subject of Zoe Crosher's current exhibit at the Eleanor Harwood Gallery.
