Statement

I am an artist working on multi-media projects that incorporate video, photography, fashion, graphic design into video art projects and multi-media installations.

I am currently working on two video art projects. One is an ongoing experimental series of short videos collectively entitled, "The Fold". This series  incorporates body movement, portraiture, light and found objects and music to create hypnotic and compelling imagery with video. The second is a project called "Return of the Dark Owl and Other Legends Lost". I use found and available objects and make-up to create characters that are human representations of nature spirits. Mostly animals spirits but some are also elements such as the moon or minerals. These creatures are then photographed and filmed. The films are projected onto the streets at night to create projected street art on the streets of Los Angeles.
