“Art is not the reflection of reality, it is the reality of reflection” (Godard)

Contemporary Art – Carry van Delft

Carry van Delft paints florals and landscapes in which she explores the relationship between reality and imagination. The border between abstraction and figuration. These are scenes from nature that lead the viewer to a certain place with a certain atmosphere. Colorful ardour and silent admiration for the wonderful diversity of nature speaks from the work of the artist. Many paintings are a passionate tribute to her perception.

Contemporary Florals

The colorful floral abstracts, mostly in large format, are often described as energetic in movement, exuberant and abundant. On a clear way she confronts the viewer with swirling compositions containing a fragment of nature often using repetitive shapes, patterns and textures. This originates an intriguing work with a special tuning in composition and color.

Intriged by the moment of light and sky, she understands the magic feeling of nature. In delicate and subtly applied layers, she explores the moods of the location that in abstraction create a sense of mystery and tranguility. It often effects that fabulous moment when the land meets the sky.

Carry van Delft 's paintings have been featured in numerous (international) exhibitions .She works alternately in the Netherlands and France.

Works can be found in collection of art rentals, businesses and individuals both at home and abroad.
