Statement

I see art as a transformative process. The making of art for me is a release from a state of tension to a place where the mind is freed from constraints. It is in this inner world, I believe, that insights and creativity dwell. It is a place of emotional and spiritual healing.

I am influenced by writers including; Herman Hesse, Friedrich Nietzsche, Carl Gustav Jung among others and artists : Mark Rothko,  Robert Motherwell, Wassily Kandinsky and Barnett Newman who also searched for a way to communicate their beliefs  of transcending the physical to connect with the spiritual.
