I believe that everyone have mission on this world. I know my mission is to be an artist and a good parent and I follow it. I love the emotional and spiritual part of the process to grab the inspiration before it goes, and to develop it. In printmaking you need to have great patient ,if you don’t have it you learn to be patient. I past through all that and now I developed my own techniques with the traditional printmaking process to the monotype- combining with dry point needles ,etchings ,embossment mezzotint and etc. I have been so curious about the result ,it always surprises me! Sometimes my monotypes look like oil paintings. I love the sophistication of colors. It is such a magic to work with different layers the color getting richer and richer.
Inspired by nature.
Observing the movement of birds, grasses, horses. Strong connecting to the natural way of life.
Exhibiting internationally - South Africa, United Kingdom, France, USA, Spain, Austria.
How is the magic of light united with scrap metal pieces and natural phenomenon of shapes ,you can see in the newest art works of Tsvetelina Spiridonova with her present exhibition in art gallery "Nuance" ,Sofia .The exposition called "The light is painting"including around 20 art pieces ,created especially for the space of Nuance art gallery.
The art works are created with deep observation in the details ,harmony and plastic strenght, experimenting with different printmaking techniques, materials and means of expression. In succession monotype, embossment, dry point needles ,it is her invention to encrust suminagashi and chine colle with the tradisional embossment which turns the artworks in unique art.
But as to emphasize the importance of materiality and spatial game, the author retains importance to the questions of her messages. She said:
"When you are an artist, the world around you is so interesting, people their relationships, plants, animals, infinite space called the universe! Artist constantly thinking and working!
I thought of time of speed, vanity,
I want the light to draw, I dig my body in the metals and started the jigsaw to arrange!
I came up with scissors and thousands scattered metals,
sometimes I lost ,but tirelessly the pictures get appear !
I want the light to draw, for pureness and whiteness I longed,
Ocean symbols, goddess creatures I tried to transform.
And here it is The new variegated game begins, the beauty of the butterflies and birds provoking me with its exotic, to be colorful and unusual in the game!
The leftovers from the oldest pictures get alive!
My paintings are created from copper plates and scrap pieces, some of them are parts of old works, I decided to spoil and re-create!
The beauty of printmaking paper is incredible ,so I was of need of nothing else.
I love beauty, nature, admire the incredible symmetry in flower petal I try around me always to be very artistic with a variety of plants and birds. My house is always with blooming orchids!
Earth gives me the greatest energies, so often I work in the garden and walk barefoot!
For me, oceans, mountains and extraordinary our mother earth were so interesting that my heart breaks when people pollute and do not understand what they are doing!
Some of the paintings have another mission to protect the oceans!
We will fight together and with joint efforts will change the bad habits of people in society!
With this exhibition I want to inspire and happy people who will visit it! "
