Magda Keriakos is an ambitious artist and has been so for most of her life. At the early age of four Magda began drawing after being inspired by her older sister. She has not stopped since. Her resume is not only evidence of her talent, but a testament to the years of devotion and talent she has invested in her art. Throughout her high school years Magda received numerous accolades for her achievements. She was honored by the City of Glendale Arts and Culture Commission for Creative excellence, *Art Student of the year*. Later on, she was accepted into Art Center College of Design.
At ACCD she not only met her expectations as a student and artist, she shattered them. Teachers immediately recognized the fluidity, texture, and movement held inside her paintings. After graduating, the Walt Disney Company would notice that talent as well. As of late, Magda has been busy working with Conceptual Design in the Disney Interactive Studios Think Tank. She works with some of the most promising talent in the Design Field and continues to exceed expectations daily. Although she loves her position at Disney, painting has and always will be her one true passion.
The recent series of paintings have been an expression of culture and movement translated to the Panels. The Belly Dancer Series has captivated audiences before, and in fact, all the paintings in her series were sold within their first showing.
Magda was born in Egypt and moved to California at the Age of 10. She currently resides in the City of San Dimas. She earned her bachelors degree in Illustration at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA. in 2007.
