I'm an Afro-Italian American artist born and raised in San Francisco and Berkeley, California. I have a Certificate of Art from the California College of the Arts and a degree in illustration and painting from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
My creative influences extend through many periods in art and cultural history, from Africa to Asia, Gauguin to graffiti, punk rock, hip hop, roots reggae to Man Ray. My illustration icons include Egon Schiele, Antonio Lopez, and the Hernandez brothers (Love & Rockets). I've been equally influenced by the photography of Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, and James Van Der Zee. When traveling I'm captivated by the beauty of humans and spaces. My photography includes images taken in New York, Paris, Belize, and Guatemala.
