Statement

Krisztina Asztalos has been painting since 1989, graduated with honour as an art teacher in 2001. As fine artist, painter her paintings have been exhibited in solo and international group shows in Europe, Asia, Africa, United States. Main concept of her art is - 5 elements - Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Space.Her artworks are inspired by eastern calligraphy, nature and human nature. Used techniques: paper and ink, gouache, watercolor, ink, acrylic, mixed media on canvas, on wood. Her macro sized 2- 3 m long ink paintings ”Aqua” series are bringing the certain feeling of special and great dimensions.

COLLECTIONS - NEWS

Main part of my artworks are in private collection, donated, sold in Hungary, USA, Sweden, Denmark, South Africa.
One of my work  was showcased by The Common Ground Association, in the Gifted Artist Collection  in 2008.
My piece called 'Earth 2008’ was chosen to be part of the premier show at the Haun Tie Art Museum in the Haun Tie art district, Beijing, China and it is on permanent display at the museum.

Following a successful launch in Beijing, the A&I Gallery in Hollywood will host the North American premiere of Common Ground 2010, an exhibition of fine art digital prints from across the globe, all with an environmental theme. The exhibition of new media work, at the intersection of art, technology, and eco-activism.
