Mary Lou Zelazny
Mary Lou Zelazny is a professor in the department of Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; her associations there dating back to the 1970's. She balances her academic work with over thirty five years of steady studio output, which is regularly exhibited in Chicago and nationally. Awards and recognition include the National Endowment for the Arts, Illinois Arts Council and the Santo Foundation. Her work is in numerous private and public collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Elmhurst Art Museum, the Rockford Art Museum, the Elmhurst College Art Collection, First Chicago Bank, and the McDonald's Corporation.
