Statement

Nathaniel Hitchcock is an independent curator currently living and working in Chicago. His recent projects include co-organizing two reopening exhibitions at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach, by Ugo Rondinone, and Pascale Marthine Tayou, and opening Chicago Manual Style & Publishing Services, with his partner Stephanie Cristello. Prior to his curatorial work at the Bass Museum, he was a director at Johannes Vogt Gallery, NY and a Curatorial Fellow at Rhizome at the New Museum, NY. He is the co-founder of East Hampton Shed, East Hampton, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and studied in the Media Art Histories International Masters program under Dr. Oliver Grau at Danube University, Krems, AT.
