Polina Stroganova, (1982, Moscow) is director of Proyectos Monclova gallery in Mexico City. Stroganova holds a Master of Cultural Studies from the University of Lüneburg, with a major in Contemporary Art History and Theory.

A dedicated agent in the cultural field, Stroganova has experience as a gallery director, curator, writer, and university lecturer. She served as the director of Galerie Crone in Berlin (2011-2013) and the director of 401contemporary in London (2009-2011). She has curated a number of independent exhibitions in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Mexico, and was a member of the documenta12 Educational Department (2007).

Stroganova has served on the board of Kunstverein Hamburg from 2008 until 2011. She was on the selection committée of MONITORING in Kassel (2007-2009) and was a special advisor to the Material Art Fair, Mexico City (2014).  

She has been a lecturer at the University of Lüneburg and at the Acadamy of Fine Arts Vienna and has written a number of texts for catalogues and publications with Taschen.
