Statement

Richard Gayler is a self taught artist who was born in Los Angeles. He has worked using different mediums over the years including assemblage, painting, encaustic, photography, and collage. His current focus is on drawing, with an emphasis on his own version of stippling. His artwork is inspired by his experiences, and (at times, satirical) observations of the complicated times in which we live.
