Yorgos Papafigos works in a variety of media and techniques. Conceptually, he is interested in
the moving and the static as comments on the ephemeral; in rituals sourced from history,
religion, myths and everyday experiences; and the tension between reality and the perception
of virtual contemporary life. He also explore the increasing use of technologies and how these decompose and hybridize human nature. One of the most important aspects of his work is how immateriality affects our perception.
