FunWOW is an emerging artistic team based out of Scottsdale, AZ. From conception, through design and execution, they work together to create vibrant, conversational pop art-inspired paintings that embrace the two words of their moniker, “Fun” and “WOW!” All pieces are designed digitally and hand-sketched and hand-painted on canvas. They do not focus on one particular subject matter in their work but rather on creating sexy and stylish statement pieces on large-scale canvases, familiar imagery intensified in bold colors.

In 2016, FunWOW was one of 40 artists chosen by the environmental activist organization Global Inheritance to redesign a 65-gallon recycling bin into a work of art to be part of their TRASHed x Coachella Art of Recycling Exhibit at the 2016 Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA as well as the TRASHed Art of Recycling Exhibit at Angel City Brewery in downtown Los Angeles’s art district. Since then, FunWOW’s PulpTRASH bin has been featured as part of Global Inheritance’s collection at FYF Festival and Art Beyond the Glass 2016 in downtown Los Angeles.

Recent exhibitions include New AZ Art, curated by Justin Germain of Thermal.Gallery at The Walter Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. FunWOW’s work is currently featured in POPUP, an online exhibit presented by Thermal.Gallery throughout October 2016.

FunWOW’s work is held by Global Inheritance and in private collections in Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Buffalo, NY; Scottsdale, AZ; and Wellington, New Zealand.
