The self-mythologizing teacher is further mythologized by his student, who portrays him variously as a floating, glowing head, a full silhouette containing various painting implements, a man who lights Duchamp’s cigar, a man with many interior levels and plank coming out of his head, a man in blue overlooking the scene, and on.
