E. Jane is an interdisciplinary media conceptualist who experiments with photography, sound, the moving image, found sculpture and performance to increase the perceptibility of mental illness and the psyche, at large.

Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Jane is currently based in Philadelphia, PA. She has shown photo, performance and sound works at Well Arts College in Paris, Bronx Art Space in New York and in a solo exhibition at Pleasant Plains Workshop in DC. Most recently, her work has been shown at Project 4 in 'WAIT', which she also curated, Transformer, and Mt. Rainer Art Space. She was also one of Transformer's E:11 Sound Art artists, and her sound piece "Internal Volume" was exhibited at Artisphere in Rosslyn, VA in FERMATA: CODA.

In addition to mentorship under Michael Platt and the Wells College 'Arts in Paris' program--where she focused on photography--Jane has a BA in Art History from Marymount Manhattan College. Her other academic focuses were philosophy and creative writing. E. Jane is currently a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts from the PennDesign Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
