GL-OW is a new media collective brought together by Guillaume Lemaitre and Olivier Weppe.
GL-OW represents a new school of thought, driven by free flowing information and underpinned by dynamic forms of communication. GL-OW uses its natural fluency in mixed media and cutting-edge technologies to create contemporary and relevant visual discourses.
GL-OW began in early 2013 and has exhibited its work internationally. Its first art collection showcased at Art Basel Miami in December of 2013. Since then, GL-OW has been commissioned by leading global brands such as Dior and Aston Martin. Its artwork was most recently featured at the Serpentine Galleries for Frieze London 2014.
Guillaume and Olivier created GL-OW after spending nearly a decade working in art and design. Both have worked for renownedautomobile companies, designing global production cars and leading their companies' future creative direction through the designof innovative concept cars. This background has provided GL-OW with a profound sensitivity for the creative process and the professional execution of ground-breaking concepts. GL-OW has developed an artistic process which functions as a moderncommunication tool, inciting a discussion of relevance and integrity in art.
