Kate Enters

I am a London based figurative painter who explores the aesthetic inspired by contemporary issues and images.  I like to think that my paintings reflect a quieter pace of life, however, this snapshot of visual charm is not without its bittersweet moments. There is often a social commentary running through my work but it is up to you, the audience, to fill in the bigger picture or remember a personal experience that the visual I share evokes.

I do not wish to dictate or manipulate a viewer’s perception of what I paint. It is a shared experience in that way and that is definitely a point I am passionate about.

I have exhibited extensively in London and am also the founder and curator of What Is The Point? – an arts initiative supporting contemporary artists -
