Antoh (Antoh Mansueto, Naples 1960) is an italian artist working in Milano. He exhibited in Italy, Germany, USA, France, Romania. He collaborates with italian galleries and exhibits in contemporary art fairs in Italy and France. He exhibited in galleries and museums like Museo Emlio Greco - Sabaudia LT.
The main master of Antoh was Bruno Munari, a well known artist and designer signer of the second "Manifesto Futurista" and present in MOMA, NY. Antoh painted the nude at Osservatorio Figurale atelier in Milano and studied ceramics. His artworks is told to be a personal mix of abstract surrealism, graffitism, deconstructivism and art brut. It's a way to describe the contemporary western society. A recognizable graphic language: Antoh creatures are caracterized by a flat, compressed, and organized chaos.
After the year 2000, he painted series like ENTROPICA (about the wasting of emotional energy), MULTIVERSE (a deconstructivist way to show the chaotic and multidimensional social space of our age), and Archetype - Prototype (about the circularity of time).
The artist loved the Paul Watzlavick theories and Alexander Lowen "bioenergetics" in psicology, and the ancient Tao te ching.
Antoh launched a project for Accademia di Brera, with a new 1500 mq restoration laboratory in Arcore (MI). President of www.villadarcore.eu association. He launched the artist group Artintensive with Midori McCabe, Paolo Manazza and other artists.
