My name is Cat Lynn Boyle. I have been infatuated with the written word since I was a child. Throughout my life, I have written journals, essays, short stories, storyboards, scripts, poetry, nonfiction and fiction. Prior to writing "Shadow Dance," I wrote a memoir based on journal entries recorded between 1999-2001. In addition, I also have written another fiction manuscript and have published poetry.
I have a master's in communication, and a bachelor's degree in political science. I have enjoyed a thirty-year professional career researching, writing and editing legal documents, marketing collateral and public relations communications such as speeches and press releases. Currently, I blog on women issues and date rape awareness.
When I am not writing, I enjoy spending time with my son and grandson, and, our dogs. Also, I am passionate about painting, practicing yoga, swimming, walking distances, and living and eating healthy.
My featured (novel) manuscript is "Shadow Dance. It is based on a journal written between 1999 and 2001, which later formed the basis of a memoir written between 2001 and 2006. In 2007, I began writing a fictionalized version of the memoir.
