Paul Morris—The Artist
Restructuring & Rearranging Photographic Images Into Transformative Art

Paul Morris, born and raised in Tewksbury, New Jersey, arrived in New York City in 1994.

Since Paul was a boy, he has always been fascinated by images—from nature, to buildings, and landscapes—literally, the world around him.

As Paul sees these images, his mind immediately starts to restructure and rearrange them. Photography is his way of capturing these images to create his art.

For instance, an image of sand being eroded by the ocean is restructured to show the intricate patterns within it. A city skyline, such as New York, is reorganized to bring out the collective sound wave of the city.

Currently, his art includes images of nature and industrial/cityscapes.

Paul graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1997, and resides in New York City.
