Statement

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I have dedicated my life to playing tennis and painting. In 2008, I graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a full athletic scholarship and moved back to the Island. I am currently a law student, have been for three years, and almost certainly will be for a couple more.

About my paintings: I just paint. I challenge my mind and push myself to create unanticipated collisions between colors, and to create unexpected collisions between shapes. The path to achieving the contrasts created by these abrupt encounters between shapes and colors, is what I love and hate the most about my work. The achievement of such contrasts is truly a beautiful thing.

In short, I really just paint. Specially during final exams week.

Favorite art movement: Abstract Expressionism
