Redell & Jimenez
Kaitlynn Redell and Sara Jimenez are multi-disciplinary artists who have been engaged in intense collaboration since attending Site + Sight, a visual research project in Beijing, China and The Gobi Desert. Since forming Redell & Jimenez, they have presented their work at Hunter College’s Focus and Motivation, were published in NYU’s interdisciplinary journal Anamesa and were artists-in-residence at the Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY. They have exhibited throughout NYC including at NYCAMs, Rush Arts Gallery, Fowler Arts Gallery and were included in El Museo del Barrio's 2013 Bienal Here is Where We Jump. This fall they were included in their first international exhibition, The Name, The Nose, curated by Raul Zamudio, at Museo Laboratorio - Ex Manifattura Tabacchi in Città Sant'Angelo (PE) Italy. Recently, Redell & Jimenez had work included in A "Womanhouse" or a Roaming House? "A Room of One’s Own” Today, curated by Mira Schor at A.I.R. Gallery. This summer they will exhibit work in the Wassaic Project Summer Exhibition 2014.
