Hannah Irene Walsh was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and was raised in the nearby suburb of Gilbert. In December 2012 she graduated Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. She began painting as a 3rd year undergraduate, and decided to continue focusing on this medium after graduating. Her work is unified with the use of vivid triads of color in portrayals of creatures and persons, beings that exist as symbolic amalgams of virtue and primal emotion. She is currently accepted to Arizona State University's Master of Fine Arts in Painting program for the Fall 2014 semester. Her current interests include building a fantasy world and characters through painted imagery, as well as studying the tarot and works of C.G. Jung and Joseph Campbell. She resides in Mesa, AZ.
