Franck Mercurio is an independent curator, museum exhibition consultant, writer, and editor based in Chicago with degrees from the University of Cincinnati (BArch) and Northwestern University (MA).

Before starting his own consultancy, Mercurio-Exhibits, Franck worked for The Field Museum, (Chicago) as an exhibition content developer where he helped organize The Ancient Americas and The Aztec World among other permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Franck currently curates exhibitions about contemporary art and design, often addressing human relationships with the natural environment; recent exhibitions include Doug Fogelson: On Climate (2016) and Regeneration: The Nature of Transformation (2015) at the Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods, Gaze: Rob Bondgren and Ivan LOZANO at Azimuth Projects (2014), and Post Industrious at Manifold Gallery (2013).

Over the past five years, Franck has contributed over 100 articles and critical reviews to Time Out Chicago, The Reader, and Chicago Gallery News. He currently edits In The Field, the membership magazine of The Field Museum and is the past interim editor of Time Out Chicago's Art & Design section (summer 2012) and the Art Institute of Chicago's Member Magazine (summer 2014).
