Statement

Antonio Alberti was born in Abbiategrasso, a town near Milan in 1986. He developed an interest in both Political Theory and Art, his career pendulating between the two. Following his undergrad in Political Theory from the University of Pavia, Alberti is pursuing a PHD in Political Studies from the University in Milan. Based on this dual interest Alberti’s art is is strictly linked to and inspired by conceptual analysis.

His Art Work has been featured in many exhibitions across Italy, including a solo art show in Blanchaert Gallery (Milan) and the Pisarro Gallery in Venice. He was recently cited in chapter 11 of the book "La Via Italiana all'Informale. Da Afro, Vedova, Burri alle ultime tendenze" (The Italian way to informal. From Afro, Vedova, Burri to the last tendencies), written by Virgilio Patarini, and edited by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori. In the 2014 he is going to exhibit in New York to HERE Org.
