Biography

Amiko Li lives and works between New York and Shanghai.

Most recently his work has been included in Photography Now 2016 at Center for Photography at Woodstock, and also the new book, Mossless 4: Public/Private/Portrait, (International Center of Photography, 2016) by Romke Hoogwaerts and Charlotte Cotton. His first monograph will be published by Kehrer Verlag in 2017.

He is the recipient of the 2014 Center Project Launch Award Juror's Choice, Fred J. Forster Fellowship, and the Royal Ulster Academy Portrait Prize. His works have been exhibited internationally including Aperture Foundation, New York; Filter Photo Festival, Chicago; Pingyao Photography Festival, China; Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast, United Kingdom; Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition, and others. His works have been featured in numerous publications including American Photography 30; Esquire Russia; Adbusters; Juxtapoz Magazine and Lens Magazine China.
