Biographical Details: Born 1984 in Chengdu.

Influences: At a young age, several of his works are already selected for exhibitions by the Institute. Currently, he is painting his ‘Sleeping Forest’ series which goes to illustrate his concern on environmental issues. Like others of his generation, Wang Xi raises through his paintings, the awareness of the consequences of human greed and exploitation of natural resources and calls for harmony between human and nature.

Education: Wang Xi completed his BA at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and is currently continuing his MA studies at the Institute.
