Koan Jeff "KJ" Baysa M.D.
As a medical curator, I founded SENSEight, a series of experiential workshops with invited individuals for conversations on perception and the human senses.
I am particularly interested in full access to art and culture to those differently enabled and participate in the ACCESS programs at the Metropolitan Museum and MoMA in New York.
As a physician, I am interested in the olfactory system and how the sense of smell's unique innervation in combination with the brain's neuroplasticity might be deployed to ameliorate memory disorders like Alzheimer's disease.
As a writer, I am interested in the overlaps of contemporary arts with architecture, design, fashion, travel, gastronomy, mixology, and parfumery.
