Goulatia has a Bachelors and Masters degree in textiles at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in India and a BFA from the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University.

Her exhibition record includes several group and one-person exhibitions. Goulatia is a force whose artistry is as much a reflection of her own keen intellect and insatiable curiosity as it is a reflection of human experience.
