Kay received a BFA from the Pratt Institute, was a Fellow of the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, and has received a grant from the NY Foundation for the Arts among others. He has exhibited in Europe and the United States and is currently represented by Blank Space in NY, Madely Jordon Fine Art, Mad Dooley Gallery and Van Brunt Projects in the Hudson Valley.
Kay has also had a career as an award-winning information graphic designer and illustrator for major national magazines and corporations—making visual representations of data, information and news events.
He lives and works in Nyack, NY.
