Anna's work reflects her fascination with the ficklness of perception, and is an ongoing exploration of the space between conscious reality and the unknown. Her images pose questions concerning the idea of self -- each one incorporating an element of her own anxieties regarding time and mortality.
Anna immigrated to the United States from the former Soviet Union in 1989. She received her BFA in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University and currently resides and works in New York City. She continues to exhibit her work nationally in solo and group shows.
