I operate in the interdisciplinary area of art and technology My art practice explores the links between technology and visual perception. I am interested in exploring the idea of the aesthetics of errors. Irregularities and glitches show up in the analogue and digital technology. Highlighting these errors and mistakes can show the hidden aesthetics.
Aspects such as flickering, vertical rolls and RGB colour can intensify the viewer’s perception. Glitches can be visually quite complex; they follow patterns, have repetition and please the eye with harmonious colours. Failure of technology and the machine become a prominent aesthetic
