Shinod Akkaraparambil

Shinod Akkaraparambil is an artist and illustrator based in Chennai, India. Born in 1975 in Koduvally village near Calicut, Kerala. he did his schooling at the HSS Chakkalakal, Madavoor. He received his Diploma in Fine Arts from Universal School of Fine Arts, Calicut in 1995. Some of his major works were exhibited in the Pune Biennale 2015. Shinod received the Pollock-Krasner Foundation fellowship from New York in 2013. He also participated in the International Art Symposium The Breath of Epos 2010 at Elabuga, Russia. He has been working as an illustrator for a number of leading publications in India, including The Times of India, The New Indian Express and India Today.
